I attended UW - Platteville for my bachelor's degree in bio-health graduating summa cum laude. I was also on football team and made All-American recognition. In college, I tutored students in a number of different subjects. I'm comfortable helping students with algebra, anatomy and physiology, biology, biochemistry, nutrition, microbiology, trigonometry, pre-calculus, pre-algebra, and others. I want my students to understand the underlying concepts of the subject, so I focus on core concepts until they are ready to move on. I also explain why what we're learning is important, and I break down concepts so that they are easier to understand. I also adjust my approach to match the learning style of each student I work with. My other interests include sports, being outside, visiting the beach, collecting sneakers, and traveling. I just came back from Brazil, where I assisted in a medical laboratory.
